Gamdom KYC verification: levels, documents and how long it takes
Gamdom KYC verification has three levels: basic details, a Veriff ID and selfie check, and proof of funds that is only ever requested. Most players never need it to deposit, play or withdraw, but when Gamdom asks, withdrawals can pause until it is done. This guide covers each level, the documents, timings and why checks fail.
What is Gamdom KYC verification?
KYC means "know your customer": the checks a casino runs to confirm who you are, how old you are and,
sometimes, where your money comes from. Gamdom KYC verification is built in levels, and Gamdom's help
centre is unusually direct about the starting point: players "can typically deposit, play, and withdraw
without completing KYC, unless it is specifically requested."
That makes Gamdom closer to a "verify on request" casino than one that demands ID at sign-up. It does
not make it a no-KYC casino. The operator, Moon Revolution Limitada, runs under an Anjouan licence
(ALSI-152406043-FI), and its terms let the team request checks at any time. Our
Gamdom no-KYC guide covers what you can do before verifying; this page covers what
happens once Gamdom asks.
Gamdom verification levels explained
Level 1: basic details
Full name, date of birth and country of residence. Businesses complete the equivalent KYB step with a
business name, address and registration number. The name and date of birth you enter here must match
the ID you upload at Level 2, so use your legal name exactly as it appears on your document.
Level 2: ID and selfie through Veriff
A government-issued photo ID, such as a passport or driving licence, plus a selfie. The check runs
through Veriff, an external verification service, by following on-screen prompts. Gamdom states that
the system reviews documents automatically and that "approval cannot be done manually", so a support
agent cannot simply tick the box for you. Depending on your country, extra details may be asked for.
Level 3: proof of funds
Payslips, invoices, bank statements or similar evidence of where your money comes from. You cannot
submit this proactively; it is only requested in specific cases, usually for compliance reasons and
typically after large deposits or withdrawals.
Proof of address, on request
Separately from the levels, Gamdom may ask for proof of address. When it does, documents are shared
through live chat or email rather than the Veriff flow.

When does Gamdom ask for verification?
Gamdom lists the triggers in general terms, "such as (but not limited to)":
- Regulatory checks that the team runs on accounts as routine.
- Abuse or fraud signals, for example signs of multiple accounts, chargebacks or "swapping"
(depositing with one method and withdrawing with another without real play).
- Some promo codes, which require a verified account to claim.
- Some withdrawals, depending on size, method or account history.
- Payment methods with a KYC level. The cashier can show "KYC level verification is required for
this deposit method" on some routes, and Gamdom Gift Cards may ask for KYC to keep using them.
Card and bank deposits through Swapped are a separate case: if Swapped asks you for KYC, that request
comes from Swapped, not Gamdom, and Gamdom points you to Swapped support. The
bank transfer guide explains that route.
How to verify your Gamdom account, step by step
- Verify your email first. Withdrawals and the community chat need a verified email. Google
sign-ins are verified automatically; Steam and Telegram accounts need an email added in the profile.
- Open the verification section in your account settings and complete Level 1. Type your name
and date of birth exactly as they appear on your ID.
- Start Level 2. Choose your country of residence and document type, then follow Veriff's
prompts to photograph the document and take a selfie.
- Use good conditions. Even light, no glare, the whole document in frame, and a plain background
for the selfie.
- Wait for the result. Gamdom says self-verification is usually completed within a few minutes
when everything is submitted correctly.
- Answer any follow-up for proof of address or proof of funds by live chat or email, and keep
copies of what you send.
If your country is not in the list, Gamdom notes that some countries on its restricted list are not
available for verification. A Cruise Ship option exists for players at sea. If you are temporarily
travelling, the system may let you choose the country you are in; do not pick a country you do not
live in to get round the list.
Why verification gets rejected
Gamdom's help centre lists the common reasons, and they are almost all about the photo:
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| Poor image quality | Retake in good light so the whole ID is sharp |
| Unsupported document | Student IDs and work badges are not accepted; use a passport, ID card or driving licence |
| Data not visible or obscured | Do not cover the name, date of birth or number with fingers or glare |
| Damaged document | Torn or creased IDs fail; use another valid document |
| Expired document | Only in-date documents are accepted |
| Surname not detected | Make sure the full name is in frame and not cropped |
If a check is declined, contact support. They can see the reason and help you resubmit. If the
automated flow keeps failing, Gamdom may ask you to send documents for manual checking by email or
chat instead.
Gamdom treats tampered, fake or borrowed documents, or an underage ID, as KYC fraud, which can lead to
permanent closure. The same applies to using a card or bank account in someone else's name, even a
family member's.
Does Gamdom KYC affect deposits and play?
Usually not. You can deposit crypto, play and withdraw without starting KYC. Once Gamdom requests it,
though, the help centre is clear that "withdrawals may be temporarily disabled until all verification
checks are completed."
Gamdom's own tip for that period is worth repeating: if your withdrawals are paused while checks run,
consider using the self-exclusion tools so you do not end up playing the balance you meant to cash out.
A pending check is one of the common reasons behind a stuck payout. The
withdrawal pending guide covers the others, and
withdrawal times explains the normal 5-minute to 1-hour crypto window.
Is Gamdom safe with your data?
Gamdom says documents are "handled securely" and passes ID checks to Veriff, a specialist provider,
rather than storing a raw upload flow of its own. The site uses SSL and offers two-factor
authentication, which you should switch on.
Two honest caveats belong here. First, Gamdom is licensed in Anjouan, a lighter regime than the
European regulators, so your recourse if something goes wrong is limited. Second, in October 2026
Gamdom took the site offline after an unauthorised connection to an automation server and a hot-wallet
loss reported at over $3 million. Gamdom said user funds were safe and relaunched on 16 October 2026,
but no forensic report had been published by late October. Our Gamdom hack explainer
tracks what is known.

FAQ
Do I need to verify my Gamdom account?
Not by default. Gamdom says KYC is not mandatory to deposit, play or withdraw unless the team requests it, for example for regulatory checks, fraud or abuse concerns, some promo codes or some withdrawals.
How long does Gamdom KYC take?
Gamdom says self-verification is usually completed within a few minutes because Veriff reviews documents automatically. Proof of funds or proof of address requests take longer because a person reviews them.
What documents does Gamdom accept?
A valid government-issued photo ID such as a passport, national ID card or driving licence, plus a selfie. Student IDs and work badges are not accepted. Proof of funds can be payslips, invoices or bank statements.
Why was my Gamdom verification rejected?
The usual causes are a blurry or cropped photo, glare over key details, an unsupported, damaged or expired document, or a surname the system could not read. Contact support to see the reason and resubmit.
Can Gamdom support approve my Level 2 manually?
No. Gamdom says Level 2 approval is automatic and cannot be done manually. If the automated flow does not work for you, support may ask for documents by email or chat for a manual check instead.
Can I withdraw while KYC is pending?
Gamdom says withdrawals may be temporarily disabled until all requested verification checks are complete. Once you pass, withdrawals resume through the cashier as normal.
Why is my country missing from the KYC list?
Some countries on Gamdom's restricted list are not available for verification. Gamdom's terms bar residents of those countries, and using a VPN to get round them can get the account restricted.
Is the Swapped KYC request from Gamdom?
No. If you see a KYC request while paying by card or bank transfer through Swapped, it comes from Swapped, and Gamdom asks you to contact Swapped support directly.
